One of Ryan’s recommendations is that before taking the exam you should be able setup a VPC from memory. Take a practice exam A Cloud Guru have an excellent practice exam and many of the questions are different each time you take it, this comes with your subscription. The solutions diagram is accessible on each lab, this is a useful tool to remember the various configurations possible. The course will feature labs which make use of the AWS free tier, I found the labs very useful and concise. The A Cloud Guru AWS Solutions Architect Associate is concise with real world examples and tips on the exam. Ryan Kroonenburg and his team have put together some great courses. I took the course on Udemy, this offered a download to mobile option. They are priced well and accessible to most. They now have their own site which is accessed on a subscription basis. I took my first course with A Cloud Guru on Udemy. Linux Academy : AWS Solutions Architect Associate Udmey / A Cloud Guru : AWS Solutions Architect Associate AWS Lambda (serverless) has 1 million free requests per month, this does not expire after 12 months so you could potentially run a business on this capacity with zero cost. Its worth noting that many of the AWS services have a free tier. During my research, the courses at A Cloud Guru and Linux Academy stood out as the ones to take. This list is by no means conclusive for the exam, however you will expand on the products as you work though the training courses. However the sheer number of AWS products can be daunting at first and so I would recommend to focus on EC2. Like Google, the hands on experience for AWS is essential.
