Did James know? Or worse, did he know and just ignored it all together? Her blood ran cold at the thought that he would do that to her. She was sure that she had hid her feelings well. The other girls were nice to her for the most part, beside the occasional mean look from Lily, and Marlene just being annoying in general because she wasnts to be as close to Sirius as possible since their one night stand.Īurora stood gobsmacked at Sirius’s out bursts. She was in Ravenclaw whereas the others were Gryiffindor. It had seemed weird when Lily just up and decided one day that she had changed her mind about James so quickly, but she didn’t know the other girls in the friend group that well. And the dislike had stimed from the rude and blatant disregard to James’s feelings during their years of school leading up to seventh year. She wanted to be friends with the girl she truly did, but it was painful watching James fawn over her for all those years. The girl knew that Lily wasn’t exactly her biggest fan which was fine since she wasn’t Lily’s either. Lily had come over a few times then just up and left. She wasn’t 100% sure what was going on with their relationship. “Oookay? What about them?” Aurora was confused as to what was going on. Marlene and Dorcas had agreed to go with her to the Potter house, although the latter insisted that this was a bad idea. And it seemed like to her Aurora was just enabling him to sit around and do nothing. James needed to get out and live his life.

Although she wasn’t she knew that they wouldn’t want him to give up on everything and everyone that he loved. The two had been dating for almost a year and a half now, but she wasn’t super close to his parents. Marlene and Dorcas had been trying to keep her mind off what was going on, but she had decided that tonight she would see James and make him realize that life has to go since Aurora obviously wasn’t doing a good job of that. She wanted to help her boyfriend, if she could still call him that, but it always seemed like Aurora or even Sirius was in the way. She understood that he was grieving the loss of his parents still, but she hadn’t talked to him really since before the funerals. Her and James had owled back and forth a little, but her patience was wearing thin. Lily had stopped by Monday evening only to leave shortly after arriving when she noticed that James wasn’t going to be paying attention to her very much.
